League's Cup Champions

León flip a 1 goal deficit and win the club's first international title in club history.

Finally! The international trophy drought has ended as León are crowned Champions of the League's Cup after beating the Seattle Sounders by a final score of 3-2.

The pivotal moment of the match was the opening goal scored by Cristian Roldán that gave the Seattle Sounders a 1-nil lead over León.

Ariel Holan was quick to respond with a pair of substitutions – subbing in Elías Hernández and David "Avión" Ramírez – who quickly changed the dynamic of the match and provided a much needed spark off the bench.

Our boys are heroes tonight. the draw gave us confidence and we found our way. It is a deserved win for us.

Goals from Ángel Mena (2) and Emmanuel Gigliotti (1) aided León's victory over the Seattle Sounders, who were out of ideas for much of the second half but nearly scored the equalizer in stoppage time.

This title represents a huge milestone in the Club's history, as it is the first international title ever won by León.

Coach Ariel Holan also picks up his first title at the helm. Holan will have a chance to win the club more silverware in the future, but for now we should all enjoy this special moment.
